I’ve been an athlete for as long as I can remember—equestrian competitor, trail runner, figure bodybuilder, CrossFitter. I’ve also worked in mental health, using movement, nutrition, and nervous system work to help people rebuild from the inside out.

So when I hit my mid-30s and started feeling like I was dragging a deadweight body through workouts I used to crush, I knew something had to change. I wasn’t recovering. I wasn’t sleeping. My hormones were shot from treating myself like the 20 year old that had no stop.

I wasn’t weak—I was overtrained, under-fuelled, and completely ignored by the fitness world I’d spent my life in.

And I saw the same thing happening everywhere: women pushing like hell in the gym, killing it at work, taking care of everything and everyone—then thinking doubling down and worker HARDER & slashing calories MORE would help when the scale wouldn’t budge or weights wouldn't increase.

After over 15 years in the health and fitness industry I knew we needed a way forward for plant based athletic women hitting perimenopause.   

So I shifted Stronger Functional Fitness to change the story.

I coach high-performing, athlete minded women who want strength without selling their health. We train hard—but we recover smarter. We track progress—but we don’t chase solely aesthetics. And we do it plant-based, because I’m living proof you can build muscle, energy, and longevity without eating animals.

You don’t need to give up your edge. You just need to stop fighting your body and start working with it.

This isn’t about fitting into a box—or back into your high school jeans. This is about building a body you can trust. For the long haul.
