Stronger Functional Fitness is designed for women over the age of 35 who are tired of the burnout, adrenal fatigue, and endless cycle of restrictive diets yet who also want to make these years their best yet.
Our plant-based fitness approach focuses on sustainable health, healing burnout (without the supplements), and reclaiming your strength through functional fitness.
Whether you are here because you want to keep up with the kids, stop feeling like getting out of bed is a struggle every morning, compete in 5k's, or maybe even some local functional fitness events, we've got you covered.
Our focus is NOT solely on the fitness, however. We take a holistic approach to reaching your goals which includes looking at your life holistically to ensure you are set up to THRIVE. Our personalized coaching will help you achieve lasting results—without sacrificing your well-being.

My journey into fitness started not for physique goals, but for the mental health benefits. As a counsellor I saw firsthand how regular exercise, healthy eating, and yoga helped youth and adults struggling with mental health issues. I started to weave health, fitness, & nutrition into the different roles I had within the counselling industry with incredible results!
That passion eventually led me into the world of personal training and bodybuilding, where I pushed myself to the extreme—until it took a toll on my health.
After experiencing burnout and a severe back injury, I closed my personal training studio, strong.ER, and stepped away from the industry for some time. Â
In the years that followed I worked with high performing women entrepreneurs & CEO's who I noticed were continuously putting their health on the back burner to achieve business goals. This was leading to hospitalizations, health issues, adrenal fatigue, and burnout.
THIS reignited my passion for helping women reclaim their health, particularly during perimenopause and menopause, and was the catalyst for starting up strong.ER again.
Today, I work with women who, like me, once loved working out but found their health sidelined by life’s demands. My approach is all about balance—helping you regain your strength, energy, and athleticism without sacrificing your well-being. Together, we’ll create a fitness plan that’s tailored to your goals and life, so you can feel strong, energized, and fully present in all areas of your life.
I live in Ontario, Canada with my husband, rescue dogs, horses, chickens, & a small farm animal sanctuary to help animals that are abused or byproducts of the food industry. My hope is that one day I will be able to purchase a 100 acre property to be able to save many more animals! A portion of all proceeds not only go to support the sanctuary at our farm but also are donated to other animal rescue efforts globally.
